STORIES OF AGRICULTURE:
The New York
Farm Bureau Foundation is
collecting short personal
stories (with pictures) that
focus on either (1) a personal
experience connecting to
agriculture and/or (2) a story
that tells about a day in the
life of an active agriculturist.
We will be assembling
these two collections to be used
as a public interest series.
A Day in the Life of a
Farmer/Agriculturist can
portray any sector of ag and
would be able to carry the
message of family farming
(regardless of the size of the
operation 99%+ are indeed family
operations).

Stories:
So start
thinking about and writing your
story and be part of a new
education process that will
engage the public and make them
aware of the different roles
within the agricultural
community, what agriculture
really means to them, what an
average day might include and an
impression of good stewardship,
family strength and a commitment
and work ethic beyond anything
they have ever known.
We want to
hear from YOU! Series
will not be started until
sufficient submissions have
been received and project fully
detailed.
