The Little Red Barn: An Ag. Literacy Collection

An Ag. Literacy Library Collection, housed in an easily transported Little Red Barn. This collection contains the top ag. education resources for Pre-K through third grade, resource information, and an outline suggesting an application of use to meet the "standards" set by the State Department of Education.

"Barns" are in the hands of the NYFB State Promotion & Education Committee for short-period loan to schools, libraries, children's programs, and many other places throughout their Districts. Scheduling, Barn restoration and localizing with additional resources and materials will be the State Comm. Representatives' responsibility, working with District counties to accomplish the task.

This Collection is available for placement at the discretion of the contributor ($275) or dedicated contributions can be made for this particular project (with placement at the discretion of the Foundation). The Little Red Barn can be supplied with Memorial or Recognition labeling.
