Classic to celebrate 10th Anniversary PLUS the NYFB Centennial

2011 is a very special year, not only is it the 10th Anniversary of the Foundation Golf Classic but also the 100th anniversary for New York Farm Bureau!  To celebrate, add some excitement to the fundraising, and carry out due diligence in Classic excellence, the Committee has researched a variety of options for the location of the 2011 Classic.

After due consideration the Committee is excited to announce that the 2011 New York Farm Bureau Foundation Classic will be held at En-Joie Golf Club located in Endicott, Broome County, New York, on Tuesday, September 13, 2011.

The En-Joie Golf Pro will provide the Classic with a variety of extras that will allow the Committee more time to concentrate on other areas which will elevate the fundraising aspect and many important on-site duties.

About the Course:  The En-Joie Golf Course is a beautiful championship golf course located in Endicott, NY, nestled in the heart of the Susquehanna Valley, only 2 miles off of New York Route 17 in South Central New York State—ten minutes from Route 81 in Binghamton, NY.

Home to the PGA Tour’s BC Open from 1972 through 2006, boasting champions the likes of Tom Kite, John Daly, Brad Faxon and Craig Stadler. And since July of 2007 the En-Joie Golf Course is the home of the Champions Tour’s Dick’s Sporting Goods Open.

En-Joie has a Four Star Rating in Golf Digest's Best Places to Play!  Playing between 5,477 yards and 7,034 yards with four sets of tees and large, receptive, well groomed greens the course sets up for an enjoyable round for golfers of all abilities. From the tips be warned, the course offers a very challenging round of golf with well placed sand bunkers, strategically located water hazards and tree lined fairways.
