The
Executive Club Participation is
Gaining!
The
challenge to reach 100%
participation in the Foundation
Executive Club was made and
leadership has responded!
The
"Executive Club" is an annual
program where each individual
member of a County Farm Bureau
Board invests a minimum of
$25.00 in the Foundation.
If all members of the
Board participate, then the
Board itself earns "Executive
Club" status.
Membership in the
"Executive Club" is recognized
in the NYFB publication
"Grassroots", as well as
inclusion in the Foundation
display at the NYFB State Annual
Meeting.
The NYFB Foundation Board
and the NYFB Board of Directors
kick off each year’s campaign to
get the ball rolling… as the
first members of the annual
"Executive Club"
Many
members of the NYFB and
Foundation Board have been
visiting county farm bureaus to
urge their support as well as
the use of the many resources
and tools to elevate the
agricultural understanding
within their communities.
As we have all
experienced, misunderstanding
and misconceptions can have
drastic consequences on the ag
community, by utilizing the
Foundation resources to develop
more tools we are better
prepared to fight the battle of
agricultural illiteracy.
All Executive Club
Members will be entered into a
raffle and one lucky winner will
be drawn to have dinner with
NYFB President, Dean Norton and
Foundation Chair, Judi
Whittaker.
As of July
31, 2009, total state County
Farm Bureau membership is at the
38% level, with District 2 and
District 11 leading with 100%
participation; followed by
Districts 3 and 9 at 60%;
District 1 at 50%; and District
10 at 40%.
