2010 Raffle Winner!
The
Foundation’s 2010 annual
raffle winner was selected
at the State Annual Meeting
in December.
That lucky winner was
Matt Kludt, a member from
Kendall, in Orleans County.
A big, beautiful 40”
LCD Hi-Definition TV was
delivered personally by
Foundation Chair, Paul
Bencal.
Matt and
his family can now enjoy all
their TV moments, although
their farm operation, Kludt
Brothers, certainly keeps
them busy as they cover
+7,000 acres in production
of a variety of crops.
Matt purchased his
winning ticket from Paul
Bencal at the Foundation
Classic in September.
He is not only a
supporter via the raffle,
but of other Foundation
events.
The $50 gift
certificate to a local farm
market for the “seller” of
the winning raffle ticket
was donated back to the
Foundation by Paul Bencal.
Our
thanks to Matt for his
support of agricultural
education.
His father, Gary,
President of Orleans County
Farm Bureau is also a
supporter and the County is
a 2010 member of the
Executive Club.
The Foundation was initiated by those within the agricultural
community to fill a need for
a raised level of knowledge
by all those we interact
with in a variety of ways.
The
programs and projects have
yielded abundant positives,
but we have barely touched
the surface and have
tremendous opportunities.
Thank you to all who
sold and purchased raffle
tickets that help
agriculture to “sow the
seeds of understanding”.
Be sure to check and
see what the Grand Prize
will be for the 2011
raffle…YOU could be the next
big winner!
